David N. Larson

Dave brings three decades of experience handling complex insurance coverage disputes and appeals to Lindsay, Pickett & Postel.  He has represented insurers and insureds in litigation across the country.  Dave believes that every case should be considered from both a legal and economic perspective to maximize the benefit to his clients.  In addition to extensive work representing insurers, Dave was recently part of the appellate team that successfully presented COVID-19 immunity issues to the Illinois Supreme Court, securing immunity for Illinois nursing homes for COVID-19 related injuries.

Dave has represented insurers in cases involving multiple coverage lines including CGL, property, directors & officers, liquor liability and garage liability policies. He started his career working on some of the largest coverage disputes in the country involving environmental claims, product defect and intellectual property claims. He was also part of teams that addressed coverage for municipalities for wrongful incarceration claims in Florida and fought for municipal insurers to protect their obligations in Ohio.

In the last 10 years, Dave’s practice has focused on representing a variety of insurers in Illinois and Indiana. He is a member of every federal district court in Illinois and Indiana.
